Here's my last wedding that I shot in February. The sun was out, the snow was gone, and we took full advantage of it! This couple was so easy going, just enjoying every second they had together which made it very simple to get some fun candid shots. At the reception, everyone enjoyed the slide show during dinner and of course the cake (which was my favorite so far this year). This was a beautifully done wedding, but I don't have to say much else, just look at the photos and you can see for yourself!
I had the great opportunity to work with Hannah a few times now between her Senior portraits and some family photos I shot last year for her with her brothers. This time, it was for her engagement session with her and Levi. Hannah is getting ready to head to Orlando to work at Disney and go to school while Levi is in the process of making final preparations to deploy with his unit to Afghanistan for a year. I'm glad we were able to get this session in before they have to spend some time apart because they will have these photos to look at while they go through this tough time apart as a couple. Here are some of my favorites, although there are over 150 others to pick from!!!
Well, it was another great wedding at Stonegate Chapel! Riley and Amy were so "real" and that made it so fun to be their photographer. Most of the shots from their day were 100% in the moment, and as you can see from the reception, there was plenty of partying going on. My favorite part of the night was when two of the bridesmaids got on the dance floor to do a choreographed dance for the bride who was surprised and grinning ear to ear. Here are a few of my favorites from their day!
I figured since it was snowing outside, I should take some time to post my wedding from a few weeks ago that involved a bit of snow. It was sunny out, but the temperature was right around zero with snow on the ground. Of course, the inclement weather didn't stop this bride and groom from wanting to get outside and take advantage of the Winter scenery...it truly WAS a "nice day for a WHITE WEDDING"(forgive me, Billy Idol...and everyone else)! Thank you two, for being such good sports in the cold, especially Shayne. You were a real trooper and it paid off in your wedding photos, enjoy!
Robert & Serena's Wedding 1-2-2010
Well, it's my first blog post of the year and I am very pleased with the way this wedding turned out! It was practically a sub-zero start to 2010, so we had to get really creative by shooting everything inside the church. I won't tell you which one, but one of these photos was actually taken in the women's bathroom! Anything for the shot, right?! I really enjoyed Serena and Robert's relaxed approach to their special day, you could tell they were really enjoying each other and their family. I had to include a photo of the first cake of the year, it was a great way to start the 2010 cake-sampling season! Thanks for a great time guys, and I hope you enjoyed your warm honeymoon in Mexico!
Max & Victoria's Wedding 12-19-2009
This was my last wedding of 2009, and a great way to finish another amazing year! Victoria and Max, I hope you enjoyed your honeymoon in the sun after a very cold, Winter wedding and enjoy looking at these warm, love-filled photos!
