Colby & Heather's Wedding 9-25-10

Last Saturday brought us to Stonebridge in Branson for Heather and Colby's wedding. The day could not have brought more perfect weather. The guys showed their style and comfort in matching new white Nike's and the girls all incorporated the Asian themed orchids into their hair. The Mizzou game was on during their event, so Colby was busy checking scores...and one of their pictures show the final! All in all, it was an awesome day, with an awesome couple. And as you can see in their reception pics, Shorty even got "low" to some Apple Bottom Jeans and boots with the fur! We had a blast and wish you two nothing but the best! Congrats!

Tarynn's Senior 2011 Session

This is Tarynn from Salem. She drove two hours to have us do her Senior session, so needless to say, I wanted to make sure it was worth the drive! She was open for pretty much anything and brought lots of fun stuff to incorporate into photos, so we took advantage of that all the way to the end and ran with it! It was great to just run around downtown and playfully capture her youthful spirit on a windy day. Hope you enjoy!

Graham & Nicki's Wedding 9-19-10

We arrived to Tan-Tar-A to capture Nicki and Graham's day. Graham, his brother, and dad were relaxing in their room waiting for things to start, and Nicki's room was full of KC ladies that were die-hard Chiefs fans watching the game and checking the score in between make-up applications. Nicki's mom passed on her beloved dress to her, that she wore in her wedding. With a few modifications made by grandma, Nicki made it her own, and loved the sentimental meaning behind it. Graham and Nicki's intimate ceremony included all the family members passing around their rings, and saying a blessing over them. After a sweet cupcake and champagne reception, we headed to Ha Ha Tonka State Park to take some pics among the castle ruins. As you can see, Nicki is a yoga instructor...and tried to teach Graham a thing or two, too! Congrats and Enjoy your lives together!

David & Trisha's Wedding 9-18-10

Trisha and David didn't get to do the normal wedding planning like most of our couples. They had to plan a wedding from Iraq, with both of them serving time in the Army. We started emailing Trisha back and forth about her big day many months ago, trying to work around our time zone differences. Surrounded by family and friends, they pulled off an amazing Fall wedding at St. Agnes Cathedral and reception at the Grande Ballroom. We were honored to capture these two, and were very proud of both our bride and groom for serving our country. Congrats and best wishes!

Walter & DeAnna's Wedding 9-17-10

DeAnna and Walter had a sweet and personalized day!  We arrived for getting ready pictures of the two of them, went into their private moment, headed downtown for a few quick pix, and snapped away all their family photos before their ceremony.  From the bouquet of classic red roses, to their friend's band playing their reception, and a martini mashed potato bar, their day was beautiful, playful, and unique.  You two make a great couple and we enjoyed working with you! Congrats! :)

Lacey's Senior 2011 Session

As I finished up a week of major editing with a Senior blog, I wanted to thank all of our amazing clients for your outstanding support. Without you, we would not be rolling along happily and busily this season. This is Lacey, another referral from a great recent Senior, Hannah. We were all over Springfield getting the different backgrounds she liked and it was well worth it. She was great about bringing in some of her own ideas, including balloons and some letters. I was impressed at the end of the session when Lacey was all for wading in the deep water for some cool shots. Enjoy these photos and keep watching next week for four wedding blogs, a family session, and three more seniors!

Zach's Senior 2011 Session

This is Zach, a classy young man from Glendale High School. He loves the outdoors so needless to say, he really enjoyed having our signature outdoor session! He is on the track team, and as you can see in a few of the photos, he is light on his feet. I really enjoyed this session because of how relaxed Zach and his mom were and how unique Zach's style is. Enjoy a few of my favorites from the session!

Daphne's Senior 2011 Session

Here is a Senior that is an open book. Daphne came prepared with outfits, a car, her guitar, and her sister to help her with makeup and hair. Needless to say, the preparation gave the photos that extra touch and made my job easy! I think there may be one posed shot in this whole set, the rest are just Daphne being who she is, check em' out!

Matthew & Apryl's Wedding 9-11-10

Apryl and Matthew chose the perfect spot for their wedding at the Garden of Dreams at Honeybranch Cave in Sparta. Both their fathers are ministers, and Matthew will be following in their footsteps with Apryl by his side. We felt blessed to witness such a special heartfelt ceremony along with the lush scenery and natural beauty of the cave; their day was complete. Congrats to both of you, we wish you all the best!
